The wonderful surroundings add to the charm of this place: an intimate park designed by an outstanding planner and pomologist Stefan Celichowski. Inside, the former living quarters were turned into exhibition halls and administrative rooms of the museum. The most impressive is the Mirror Room, preserved in the original and decorated with refined paneling. Today it hosts meetings, conferences and concerts. Among others, those during the already famous Musical Fridays of the Museum. Two ceramic fireplaces are also worth paying attention to: in the hall and the Fireplace Room, and the Oak Room - with a wooden beam ceiling and decorative details.

The museum itself is quite a young institution. It was established in 2009 in place of the Chamber of Tradition in Czeladz, which had existed since 2003. Its most important task is to protect the cultural heritage and preserve the memory of mining traditions in Czeladź. The facility fulfills it perfectly.

The "Elektrownia" Contemporary Art Gallery functions in the museum, in the former mine power plant, which highlights the mining past of this place. Its attraction is, among other things, a well-preserved machine park, where the great attraction is the effective "Wanda" flywheel. Since 2012, concerts and exhibitions have been held here. The Saturn Museum also has collections on the nearly 800-year history of Czeladź.
